Dr. Zaid bin Abdulmohsen Al Hussain, Vice President of the Human Rights Commission (HRC), met here today Swedish Deputy Foreign Minister Frank Belfrage. During the meeting, Dr. Zaid highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness for enhancing and protecting human rights in accordance with the Basic System of Governance based on the Islamic Sharia (law). The two sides also discussed distinguished relations between the two countries in the field of human rights. The HRC Vice President also reviewed the developments of the human rights at all levels, lauding the Kingdom's development in the field of spreading the culture of human rights which are supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and stressing that all rights are preserved and guaranteed by the Islamic Sharia for all citizens and expatriates in the Kingdom. For his part, the Swedish Deputy Foreign Minister hailed the developmental progress in the Kingdom in all fields.
