US searchers fail to find objects spotted by Chinese plane

A US Navy P8 Poseidon failed to locate the objects
that a Chinese aircraft spotted in the Indian Ocean Monday, and the
ship had to return to Perth to refuel, dpa reported.
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority tweeted: "Drift modelling
undertaken on sighting. P8 unable to relocate objects."
