Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. Albilad newspaper said, "Makkah is preparing during the next few days to hold the Second World Congress under the banner of ( the Islamic world .. problems - and solutions ) in which a group of Muslim scholars and professors of Islamic universities in the Muslim world will participate and is held by the General Secretariat of the Muslim World League." The newspaper added, "The nation's scholars and opinion leaders and university professors and officials of the Islamic centers and institutions are set to discuss a number of research and work papers through five main themes reviewing the situation of the Islamic nation and the problems that lead to division and fragmentation in the ranks of Muslims and the danger of the conflict and strife."
