The Security Spokesman of the Ministry Interior stated that in reference to a statement announced by the General Directorate of Prisons dated on 25/3/1435 AH that a prisoner detained in the General Prison in Dammam has managed to leave the hospital with the help of a number of people who had fired on the security man accompanying him which resulted in his injury by two bullets in the thigh and leg, and in view of the danger of what the prisoner Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sahli and his aides had committed of shooting at the security man accompanying him and the gravity of the crimes with which he is charged including a deliberate killing crime and several armed robberies, a security plan has been prepared to follow up and arrest him for trial on the charges against him. Security men have managed on Monday morning 04/03/1435 in monitoring the presence of the wanted prisoner accompanied by four other people in a desert area, about 25 kilometers east of Hafr Al-Baten Governorate, where they were surrounded with the participation of the security aircraft. Appeals were directed to them to put down the weapons carrying with them and surrender themselves to the security forces. When security men started the procedures of arresting them, they had fired on the security men who responded in a similar way resulting in the killing of the prisoner wanted to security authorities Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sahli, injuring one of his companions and arresting him along with 3 other Saudis, seizing 2 machine guns and 3 pistols in their possession. The spokesman stressed that security men will implement their missions to maintain security and strike with an iron fist on anyone who tries to tamper with it.
