Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah region, held here yesterday evening a dinner party in honor of the Ministers of Culture in the countries of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and heads of delegations participating in the 8th Islamic Conference of Ministers of Culture, in the presence of Minister Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja. Upon his arrival accompanied by Dr. Khoja, the Prince and conference guests toured the exhibition of Hejaz Railway. Addressing the party, the Prince welcomed the guests of the conference in Madinah, the first capital of Islam and the starting point of Islamic civilization, noting that since the selection of Madinah as the Capital of Islamic Culture for the Year 2013, hundreds of cultural, literary, and heritage events, symposiums and exhibitions have been organized in Madinah which have attracted large numbers of people from the Kingdom and abroad. Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said, "We appreciate greatly your assessment of the events that have taken place in Madinah, along with your suggestions for initiatives and advice about them and all matters related to the culture of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
