Qatar's soccer national team was crowned as champion of West Asia Soccer Tournament, for the first time in its history, following its win over Jordan two love at the tournament's final match held this evening at Jassem bin Hamad stadium in Alsadd club in the Qatari capital of Doha. Bu-Allam Khookhi scored his team's two goals at the 52nd and 81st minutes. Bahrain came third and Qatari player Ali Assad won the tournament's best player title, Khookhi named the scorer with six goals in aggregate while Bahrain's goalkeeper Sayyed Mohammed Abbas was the tournament's best in his position.
