Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on assuming the presidency of the current session of the Supreme Council valuing the contents of his opening speech, may God protect him, and his eagerness to activate the process of cooperation among the GCC countries in all fields. The Supreme Council expressed its deep appreciation and gratitude for the great, sincere and genuine efforts made by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, may God protect him, and his esteemed government, during his presidency of the thirty third session of the Supreme Council, and the steps and important achievements accomplished. The Supreme Council welcomed the presence of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, may God protect him, and expressed his sincere congratulations to His Highness on the occasion of his accession to power, calling on God to provide him with the help of the Almighty to achieve further progress and prosperity of the State of Qatar and its dear people.
