The Saudi Azerbaijani Investment Forum kicked off here today in the presence of Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev and Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Undersecretary of the Governor of the General Commission for Investment for Investment Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The forum is being held timing with the third Saudi Azerbaijani joint committee chaired by Abdullatif bin Ahmed Al-Othman, Governor of the General Commission for Investment. The Saudi Azerbaijani Forum, the first of its kind among the business circles, aims at encouraging commercial initiatives among businessmen and fix new opportunities that help expand commercial and economic relations between the two countries as its attracted more than 100 companies in the fields of industry, foodstuff, chemicals, oil, education, construction, communications, information technology and a number of government officials.
