The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has underscored the importance of confronting the recent violations committed by the Israeli occupation in the holy city of Al-Quds so that the world community could stop the Zionist plan of dividing the blessed Aqsa mosque, noting that this matter requires a serious and firm stand to salvage the Aqsa mosque from the risks of judaization. This came in a speech delivered by Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kingdom, leader of his country's delegation, at the 40th session of the Ministerial Meeting of the Islamic Cooperation Organization which was opened by the Guinean President Alpha Konde in Conakry earlier today. He pointed out that the meeting comes in the aftermath of the Islamic summit held in Cairo, Egypt, in February this year, noting that the major challenges facing the Islamic nation are the Arab Israeli dispute, the continuation of the Israeli occupation in building Jewish settlements that might derail and cause collapse of the peace process in the region. He said the Palestinian issue is the core of the struggle in the Middle East, a matter that requires firm calls and action for our legitimate rights according to the international legitimacy and the Arab peace initiative which received support of the Arab and Islamic summits. The world community should shoulder its political and ethical responsibilities to coerce Israel to hand over the rights to their legitimate owners and desist from all kinds of inhumane and tyrannical acts against the Palestinian people who are gearing to have the right of establishing their independent state with Al-Quds as capital. --More 22:54 LOCAL TIME 19:54 GMT تغريد
