Kuwait strongly condemned today the bomb attack against the Yemeni Defense Ministry building that took place yesterday morning killing at least 25 people and injuring some 70 others, a Foreign Ministry source said. The source, in a statement to KUNA, said this "criminal act" aimed at undermining the Yemeni government's great efforts to achieving stability and peaceful coexistence in the Arab country. He said the attack was absolutely violating religious principles. Kuwait, added the source, was confident the Yemeni people would emerge stronger and focus on the reconstruction of their country. He called on the international community to exert efforts in order to stop similar attacks and freeze their funding resources. The Kuwaiti ministry source extended deepest condolences for families of the victims, and wished speedy recovery for the injured.
