The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has called for the enhancement of all ways of cooperation between Arab and African countries and removing of their constraints, as there are some people who try hard to harm these relations, disrupt their march and progress, necessitating that all shall assume solidarity to address these attempts from whatever source and those who stand behind them. The Kingdom emphasized that the focus on the goal of development and investment requires the settlement of disputes by peaceful means in a manner which preserves the legitimate rights of the concerned parties and leads to the achievement of security and stability in our countries , indicating that the coordination between the Arab Peace and Security Council and African Peace and Security Council helps to address many of these differences. This came in a speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the 3rd Arab-African Summit currently being held in the state of Kuwait in which Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, headed the Kingdom's delegation as representative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The Prince said, "I am pleased and honored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to deliver his speech at this important conference and convey his greetings and best wishes that this 3rd Summit issues resolutions to enhance and deepen the march of Arab- African cooperation started before more than three decades, but it has not reached yet the desired objectives. Following is the King's speech. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, Praise be to Allah and prayer and peace be upon His prophet Muhammad, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, The Emir of Kuwait, the President of the Summit, Your Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses, His Excellency, the President of the African Union Commission, His Excellency, the Secretary General of the Arab League, May Allah's peace, mercy and blessings be upon you.
