AlHijjah 14, 1434, Oct 19, 2013, SPA -- A Somali police official said at least 12 people have been killed after a suicide bomber detonated explosives in a small restaurant north of the capital. According to AP, Mohamed Abdi said Saturday the attack in the city of Beledweyne, about 339 kilometers (210.65 miles) north of Mogadishu, also wounded at least 10 others. The city is under the control of the central government and African Union peacekeepers from Djibouti are stationed there. It was not clear who was responsible for the attack.
