Prince Mohammed announced that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud approved this year to establish special forces of Hajj and Umrah security with more than 40,000 security men.
He stressed "maintaining safety and security of pilgrims requires us to take all the possibilities seriously and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have witnessed in the recent past a fierce terrorist campaign which does not exclude the holy sites. With the grace of Allah, we were able to confront it and limit its risks and spare the country and people its evils."
The Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee expressed his hope that each pilgrim is to perform Hajj rituals with all tranquility and to stay away of any matter confusing the pilgrim in performing Hajj rituals.
