Approval of the regulation on municipal solid waste management as annexed to the decision. 2- Any party practicing any activity governed by this regulation shall correct their status within two years of the date of its enforcement in accordance with its provisions. A royal decree has been prepared to this effect. The major features of the regulation are: 1- The regulation aims to develop an integrated framework for the management of municipal solid waste, and applies to all operations relating to waste's separation, collection, transportation, storage, sorting, recycling and processing. 2- The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs takes charge of the tasks and responsibilities of the Municipal Solid Waste Management that shall include a number of tasks and responsibilities, including raising the level of health and safety of the population and comfort in the Kingdom's cities and villages, through the Municipal Solid Waste Management and Hygiene of the towns and villages and the safety of the environment, as well as raising the environmental awareness and developing appropriate programs to sensitize the population about the importance of adherence to instructions when dealing with municipal solid waste. --More 10:56 LOCAL TIME 07:56 GMT تغريد
