The United Arab Emirates' President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory cable to Adli Mansour after he was sworn in as the Interim President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Sheikh Khalifa wished him success in his historic mission, stressing that the UAE looks for the Egyptian people to realize all of their wishes for stability and prosperity. In his cable, the President said: "We have followed with appreciation and satisfaction the national consensus that has been seen in your country, which played a prominent role in enabling Egypt to get out of its crisis in a peaceful way, preserving its institutions, embodying the ancient civilization of Egypt and enhancing its Arab and international role. Sheikh Khalifa stressed that the UAE is linked to Egypt by historical and fraternal relations and is always looking to develop and consolidate these relations in all fields, for the benefit of the two countries and the good of their people, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM."
