Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, received at the Emir's Divan today Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz conveyed congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and the government and people of Saudi Arabia to Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani on the occasion of his assumption of the reins of power in the State of Qatar. The reception was attended by Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of the State of Qatar. The Second Deputy Premier arrived this morning in Doha coming from Jeddah. He was greeted at the airport in Doha by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani, Minister of State for Internal Affairs, and other officials. Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud left the State of Qatar on his way back to Jeddah. He was seen off by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani, Minister of State for Internal Affairs, and other officials.
