Saudi students won 8 awards at Intel International Science and Engineering Fair held in Arizona State in the United States of America on May 10-20, 2013. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked the third at this major international forum after the United States of America which ranked the first and Canada the second. The Dean of Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at King Faisal University and Chairman of Scientific Committee of the Department of Information and Public Relations Dr. Hamdan Bin Ibrahim Al-Mohammad pointed out that the Saudi delegation at the Fair included 22 male and female students who presented 18 research projects in various scientific areas under the supervision of King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity.
