Shiekh gave an account on Majlis Ashura, including the number of its members, qualifications and representation of all social segments of the Saudi society. He said Majlis Ashura enjoys all liabilities of an independent parliament and membership to all regional and international parliamentary chambers. He told the Ethiopian representatives that he was clearly instructed by the monarch to do his best to push the relations between the two countries from wishes to tangible action that would achieve a joint vision for mutual development. Al Al-Shiekh invited Jamdah to pay an official visit to the Kingdom at his convenience. Then Dr. Nasser bin Dawood, Chairman of the Saudi Ethiopian Parliamentary Friendship Association, and Hashem Al-Rajeh, member of the association, also made remarks on the parliamentary relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them. Later, ambassador Abul-Baqi held luncheon party in honor of Dr. Al Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation. The function was attended by Abadola, a number of diplomats and government officials.
