Five people were killed early Wednesday in Manchester, Illinois, and a suspect died after a shootout with police, Illinois State Police said. Spokeswoman Monique Bond confirmed the killings and also said that a young girl had been injured and taken to a hospital. Initial reports were that the victims had been shot, but Bond would not confirm details. Police did not discuss any motive nor did they say if the victims were related.
