Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average jumped 2 per cent Tuesday morning, recovering losses from the previous day as the European Union and Cyprus negotiated over a bailout for the island. The Nikkei gained 246.55 points, or 2.02 per cent, to trade at 12,467.18. The broader Topix index was up 17.52 points, or 1.7 per cent, at 1,045.86 at 11:30 am (0230 GMT) at the end of the morning session, according to a report of DPA.
