Murder, torture, rape and forced disappearances have taken place across Syria - during house searches, at checkpoints, and in detention centres, dpa quoted United Nations investigators as saying Monday. "Committed as part of a widespread and systematic attack, they may constitute crimes against humanity," the Commission of Inquiry on Syria said, claiming that pro-government forces have "become increasingly violent and reckless with human life." A confidential list of individuals and units believed to be responsible for crimes against humanity will be submitted in March to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
