OIC Secretary General Condoles Cote d'Ivoire over Tragedy

Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has expressed his deep sadness following the death of over 60 people in a stampede in a stadium in Abidjan and offered his profound condolences to the President of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire Dr. Alassane Dramane Ouattara, to the bereaved families and above all to the entire Ivorian people.
In a press statement, the OIC Secretary General prayed for the repose of the soul of the victims and the quick recovery of the injured and hoped that Cote d'Ivoire will never know such tragedy again.
