Presided over by its Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shoura has congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, on the occasion of issuance of the government budget for the fiscal year 1434 - 1435H. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Amro, Majlis Al-Shura Secretary General, said that the council valued and lauded the new state budget, as it showed unprecedented figures and scored a historical surplus, attributing that to the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. Majlis Al-Shura also hailed the contents of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' speech. Al-Shura council also stressed that it will work with various governmental departments to activate provisions of the budget. The council called on finding suitable mechanisms at the level of the governmental and private sectors to follow-up and define reasons of stalling implementation of governmental projects. --More
