Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. The Crown Prince talked about the King's prestigious status at Arab, Islamic and international arenas and his important and influential roles in world events, and the Kingdom's renaissance and progress, which have made the King assume world rankings, the latest one is his ranking by U.S. Forbes Magazine. The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet was briefed on reports on the latest developments of events in the region and the world, welcoming the holding of 8th Manama Dialogue Forum in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the roles of this annual forum in confronting the challenges in the region with their regional and international repercussions. He noted that the Cabinet renewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation of what has been done by Israeli occupation authorities in building settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, including most recently the decision to build 3000 housing units in the West Bank and the occupied city of Al-Quds, calling on the international community to stand against these occupation projects , which influence the track of peace process, and destabilize the region. --More
