Prince Nawaf bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, received at his office in London today the Saudi delegation to the London para-Olympiad 2012. At the outset of the meeting, the ambassador welcomed the mission's administrative and technical delegations, including the athletes. He underscored the importance of Saudi sports teams taking part in such international event as it reflects Saudi government's interest in the welfare of the handicapped. He noted that the host country has provided all kinds of assistance to the guests, wishing Saudi athletes every success in their future games. For his part, the leader of the delegation Dr. Nasser Al-Saleh thanked the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the efforts it has exerted to make this trip a success. Following Friday public prayer, which the delegation performed in the Embassy premises, the ambassador gave a luncheon party in honor of the visiting sports mission.
