Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has suspended 46 government officials, including her son, for failing to declare their assets to an anti-corruption taskforce, local media reported on Tuesday. According to the New Dawn Liberia newspaper, Charles Sirleaf - who is the deputy governor of the Bank of Liberia - is among those who have been temporarily removed from their posts. According to dpa, others include the heads of the governance and AIDS commissions, the consul general in New York and the solicitor general.
