Stocks in Tokyo were mixed Monday as export-linked stocks were hurt by the yen's rise, but hopes grew that central banks would take monetary easing measures to prop up their economies. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 6.29 points, or 0.07 per cent, to end at 8,885.15 while the broader-based Topix index was up 0.16 points, or 0.02 per cent, at 746.95, according to a report of DPA.
