Yemeni Minister of Information Ali Al-Omrani hailed the valuable results of the Third Ministerial Meeting of the Group of Friends of Yemen, held in Riyadh. He valued announcement by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, during the meeting, of the generous support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the development process in Yemen with a total amount of about U.S. $3.25 billion. In a statement to the Yemen News Agency "SABA" today, he said, "This fraternal position is not strange for the brothers in the Kingdom and its wise leadership represented by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (May Allah protect him), but comes as an extension to their brotherly positions and their generous support for Yemen and its development process." He also noted that this support reflects the depth, closeness and strength of the fraternal, eternal and historical relations between the two brotherly and neighboring countries and their peoples.
