Faisal, he extended thanks to the Kingdom's Government and people for their support of Egypt during the electoral period. He indicated that this support has resulted in the success of the electoral campaign, confirming that about 160,000 Egyptian voters living in the Kingdom in safety and comfort and they have contributed significantly to the success of the electoral process in Egypt. On the future of investments in Egypt, particularly Saudi Arabian ones, he made clear that the depth of Egyptian-Saudi relations is stronger than the attempt by some to stir up unrest and strife between the two countries, noting the strength of Saudi investment and its active role in supporting the Egyptian economy in various ways. Regarding fears of potential Iranian penetration in Egypt, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign said that Egypt is keen on non-interference in internal affairs of any state and so it is considered that any interference in its affairs is unacceptable. On the media chaos of some satellite channels and some non-state media organs in Egypt towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Egyptian foreign minister appealed such media organs to commit to rational dialogue and to chose reason over passion.
