JOUF: A motorized hang-glider pilot, Ahmad Munawir Al-Dhumairi, died Wednesday night while trying to land in Muwaisin, officials said. The accident was caused by strong wind which forced the gilder's wings to fold. Al-Dhumairi plummeted to the ground at a high speed and suffered injuries including a fractured leg and bruises and injuries to his chest and forehead, which led to bleeding and his death, an investigation at the site revealed. Al-Dhumairi was an employee of Saudi Telecommunications Company, head teacher of Al-Jouf Gliding School and chairman of the Photography Committee at the Cultural and Arts Society in Al-Jouf Region.
