Ashfaque sparkles with 6 wickets for 26 runs

26 by Syed Ashfaque Ahmed helped ACE Travels humble Jawar Al-Jazira in the second week of the JCA Premier League which is sponsored by the Kanoo Group of Companies.
In other highlights of the week, Irfan of Zinda Tilismat hit 113, Javed Ahmed made 67, Zameer hit a classic 75 and Irfan Qureshi made 68 runs and took 5 wickets.
ACE Travels, batting first, scored 203-6 against Jawar Al-Jazira in the allotted 18 overs. Rayees Ahmed topscored with 67. Others who showed form with the bat were Imran (40 not out), Ismail (23) and Pervez (20). Kamran took 3-29, Shan Manzoor 1-22, Amer Shehzad 1-34 and Shahzad 1-29. The Div. II champion Jawar Al-Jazira got a jolt as it was bundled out for a paltry 69 all out as Syed Ashfaque Ahmed ripped through the Jawar batting with 6 wickets for 26 runs. Imran got 2-30, Aijaz 1-6 and Shoaib 1-4.
Batting first Sultan Al-Abideen-XI made 203-3 against Hijaz-XI. Irfan Qureshi (68) and Zameer (75) produced 150 runs for the first wicket. Others who contributed runs were Hazrath Ali 23 and Wasay 17 not out. Talha Qulani took the 3 wickets that fell for 29 runs. In reply, Hijaz-XI was bundled out for 140. Ayaz was the highest scorer with 35. Sadath made 27, Saeed Amoudi 19, Mohammad Ba Wazeer 18 and Talha Qulani 14. Irfan Qureshi claimed five wickets, Abdul Rehman three and Faraz one.
Batting first, Zinda Tilismat of Hyderabad, India, scored 213-2 against champion Kanoo. Opener Javed Ahmed made a quickfire 67 in just 33 balls. Stylish Irfan cracked 113 off just 52 balls with 9 fours and 8 sixes. In reply, Kanoo made 207-4. Babar Toor, batting first, made 138 all out against JPCC. In reply, Jeddah Projects Cricket Club reached the target 139-5 in 16 overs.
Shahzad hits century
Rana Shahzad of Saudi Steel Profile hit 103 against Ravi Cricketers and Shahbaz of Peeran-XI cracked an unbeaten 87 against Saudi German Hospital in JCA Division-I League which is sponsored by the ACE Travels & Tours.

ACC beat Desert Warriors by 6 wickets, Sigma Paints downed Pak Young by one wicket, Deccan Knights won over BTC by 6 wickets, KAIA dumped Al-Khulais by 12 runs and Saliheen beat ALJ by 13 runs in the 6th week matches of JCA Division-II League is sponsored by Abdul Lateef Jamil Company (ALJ).
