JCA holds Division-I Natco Cup awarding ceremony

R) JCA president Mohammad Iqbal, chief guest Chris de Klerk, Aijaz Khan, Mohammad Sadathullah hand over the JCA Div-I winner's Natco Cup to Javed Ahmed of Zinda Tilismat.JEDDAH: Zinda Tilismat was handed the Division-I afternoon session Natco Cup at a colorful prize distribution ceremony recently held at the JCA Usfan Cricket Complex here recently.
The tournament was sponsored by Natco International Freight and Cargo Services and the function was organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association under the leadership of Mohammad Iqbal.
The ceremony, conducted by A.A. Merchant, started with the recitation from the Holy Qur'an by Abdullah Afsar Khan. The JCA vice president Aijaz Ahmed Khan briefed the gathering about the association and thanked the sponsor Natco International Freight & Cargo Services for extending their support.
Natco CEO Syed Abbas Ali, who was also the chief guest, could not attend the ceremony due to prior appoitments, but conveyed his best wishes and support to JCA for future endeavors.
The guest of honor on the occasion was cricket enthusiast Chris de Klerk, General Manager of Gedac Electrical Company. He was also introduced to the winning and runner-up teams, Zindal Tilismat and ACE Travel respectively. The well-kept facilities and the large number of cricketers surprised him.
