Sixers down Spurs, Cavs end drought

PHILADELPHIA: The Philadelphia 76ers shot poorly all night but still had enough to notch an impressive 77-71 win over the NBA-leading San Antonio Spurs .
Jrue Holiday scored 27 points and Elton Brand tied his season high with 17 rebounds for the 76ers, who defeated the Spurs for the fourth consecutive season in Philadelphia and remained in the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Tim Duncan had 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Antonio McDyess added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs, who fell short in their goal of becoming the sixth team in NBA history to begin 45-8 or better.
Cavaliers 126, Clippers 119, OT: In Cleveland, the hosts needed overtime to do it, but finally broke their record losing streak by edging Los Angeles.
Nearly two months after it started, Cleveland stopped the NBA-record losing streak at 26 games.
Antawn Jamison scored 35 points and made the game's biggest basket, a 3-pointer with 22 seconds left in OT for the Cavs. Daniel Gibson scored 10 in overtime.
Blake Griffin had 32 points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers.
Hornets 99, Magic 93: In Orlando, Willie Green scored 24 points to lead New Orleans over Orlando.
David West added 17 points and 17 rebounds as the Hornets snapped a four-game losing streak.
Dwight Howard led the way for Orlando with 20 points and 17 rebounds.
Lakers 113, Knicks 96: In New York, Kobe Bryant scored 33 points in another effortless night at Madison Square Garden as Los Angeles cruised past struggling New York.
Bryant scored 19 in the first quarter and grabbed 10 rebounds for the night despite playing only 29 minutes.
Heat 106, Pistons 92: In Auburn Hills, Michigan, streaking Miami beat Detroit to take over sole possession of the Eastern Conference lead.
Suns 95, Jazz 83: In Salt Lake City, Utah suffered defeat in its fist match without Jerry Sloan as coach in more than 22 years, beaten by Phoenix.
Grizzlies 89, Bucks 86: In Memphis, Mike Conley had 23 points, including a key 3-pointer with 1:12 left, and eight assists as Memphis beat Milwaukee.
Trail Blazers 102, Raptors 96: In Toronto, LaMarcus Aldridge scored 14 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter to lead Portland over skidding Toronto.
Nets 94, Bobcats 89: In Charlotte, New Jersey ended a 12-game road losing streak by defeating Charlotte.
Pacers 116, Timberwolves 105: In Indianapolis, Dahntay Jones scored all of his 19 points in the fourth quarter to spark Indiana's big finish against Minnesota.
