TAMPA: The Saudi Student Clubs at US universities held their 31st meeting Tuesday at the University of Tampa in Florida and discussed issues of concern to Saudi students as well as the facilities available on the Student Clubs' website. The meeting gathered 100 club chairpersons under the patronage of the Saudi Ambassador to the United States and chairman of the Saudi Student Clubs, Adil Al-Jubair, and was chaired by the Saudi Cultural Attaché and vice chairman of the Saudi Student Clubs in America, Muhammad Al-Issa. The gathering looked at preparations for the “Outstanding Graduate of the Year” ceremony and ways of securing financial support from the university. “The Saudi Student Clubs in America, as represented by their male and female scholarship students, provide a wonderful portrayal of the Kingdom through their various cultural activities on National Day, Eid Al-Fitr, and Eid Al-Adha,” said Al-Issa. “They also offer advice to new students and welcome them upon their arrival to their many cities of destination, as well as help them find accommodation in safe locations and assist them in opening bank accounts in America.” Moudhi Al-Khalaf, the head of cultural and social affairs at the Cultural Attaché's Office and secretary of the Saudi Student Clubs, said that the number of clubs had risen from 40 to 150, and that they had also expanded their range of activities. “Anyone wishing to do so can contact the Student Clubs via the website of the Cultural Attaché's Office which has a link to them, and then call the numbers available to contact the chairperson or vice chairperson,” Al
