Pak Crescent and Natpet dominate

YANBU: Natpet and Pak Crescent continue to dominated in the Sunrise Establishment T20 Cricket Championship here.
In a Group B match, Natpet beat Cristal by 4 wickets to emerge as a strong contender for semis. Batting first, Cristal scored 165-7 in allotted 20 over's. Nasim scored a solid 73 and Moiz hit 30. For Natpet, Najib claimed 3 wickets and Aamir 2.
In reply, Natpet kept its nerves and reached the target for the loss of 6 wickets with 9 balls to spare. Jassam and Asim played unbeaten knocks of 32 and 25 respectively. Yasir and Sajid claimed 3 and 2 wickets each. Aamir was adjudged the Man of the Match.
In a Group A match, Pak Crescent kept its hopes to enter the semis alive by beating Shah XI comprehensively. Shah XI, which won the toss and elected to bat, was restricted to 18 overs due to late its late arrival for the match. It scored 100-9 with Sayeed scoring 43 and Imran remaining not out on 18. Waseem took 4 wickets while Mazhar and Sarfaraz took 2 each.
In reply, Pak Crescent hammered the opponents all around the park and won the match by losing only one wicket with 13 overs to spare. Riyaz and Waseem played whirlwind knocks of 51 not out and 33 not out. Sayeed claimed the only wicket for Shah XI. Waseem was adjudged the Man of the Match for his brilliant all-round show.
In another Group B match, Saad XI beat RC by 118 runs. Batting first after winning the toss, Saad XI scored a huge total of 204 with Mustafa playing a gem of an innings with 110 . He was well supported by Saleem who scored an unbeaten 22. Tauseef and Aun took 3 wickets each for RC.
In reply RC was bowled out for 89 runs in 13.5 overs. Nusrat was the highest scorer for RC scoring 37 runs and Asmat scored 15 runs. For Shah XI, Umer bowled beautifully to claim 3 wickets and Saeed took 2. Mustafa was declared the Man of the Match.
Rafaqat, Iklaq, Tanveer, Murali and Ali Cheema were the umpires for these matches while Moin and Murali were the scorers.
