Faisaliah-Al-Khozama team with officials RIYADH: A united team of Al-Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al-Khozama claimed honors in the Inter-Hotel Basketball League 2010 here. Championship winner for the second consecutive year, the Al-Faisaliah-Khozama team won an unprecedented 9 out of 10 matches in this three-month long league championship. In the final, the champion defeated Al-Hokair Group 91-70. The team also scooped a number of individual prizes, including the best coach trophy by Gerry Donato and best team manager award by Mohamed El Bardai. The talented players of the team also bagged three special awards – best steal of the tournament went to Archie Zabela, the best center was Mitchel Campomanes, and the tournament's Most Valuable Player was Nino Lauriaga. Rosewood Group Hotels Al-Faisaliah and Al-Khozama, both owned by Al-Khozama Management Company, the property investment and management arm of the King Faisal Foundation, have been active participants in the highly contested league since 1994 and Hotel Al-Khozama held the coveted champion's title for five consecutive years.
