BME Global has strategic relationship with Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH: The organizer of the Saudi Office Expo and Saudi Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Strategic Conference Alain Marhic, managing director of BME Global, said that the ICT conference is very important because the Kingdom is experiencing heavy investment in infrastructure and telecommunications.
BME Global began operating in the Kingdom three years ago and to date has organized 20 events. “Basically, we have become Saudi specialists as we cover the most strategic industries in the Kingdom, such as petrochemicals, gas, health care, communications, water, environment and others,” Marhic told Saudi Gazette. “We always work directly with the relevant support of the ministries. This is very important because Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in infrastructure and telecommunications,” he said.
Marhic explained that the idea behind the ICT Strategic Conference is to enable the best networking opportunities between ICT professionals and their target sectors. “As ICT co-sponsors, we have brought companies like Saudi Arabian Airlines, Saudi Aramco, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and many others who are key partners under one roof to ensure the success of the event.”
“We are committed to Saudi Arabia and we have a very strong partnership in the Kingdom with both the public and private sectors. We are focusing only on Saudi Arabia for the near future, as our main motive is bridging connections. We are providing our services to the strategic industries to set up forums to discuss investment opportunities related to the environment, municipal waste collection, recycling and the development of solar energy. The aim is to help the private sector coordinate with the public sector for the further development of the country,” he said .
BME Global has developed a strategic relationship at the government level and has managed to secure a number of contracts in the Kingdom, which, according to Marhic, has one of the strongest economies in the world.
“Our work experience in the Kingdom is excellent and very positive as Saudi Arabia has a lot of opportunities for companies like ours. The Kingdom is developing very fast and there is a good market for quality products. Companies here like to go for the best quality and are very appreciative and welcome foreign expertise which is very helpful,” he said.
Marhic said that the Saudi Office Expo is important as the Western Region of the Kingdom is receiving a lot of investment in the communications sector. “The Kingdom is building 8.5 million square meters of office space and we cannot speak of office space without thinking of furniture, security, and telecommunications as everything is linked together,” he said.
