Good Deeds and Social Solidarity - Society in Makkah plans to provide pilgrims with one million meals on Arafat Day, according to the charity's director general. “The plan is being supervised by the Makkah Emir's Office, and a team of the society's volunteers will carry out the task,” Muhammad Alim said. “Each meal will consist of a bottle of water, fruit juice, baked bread garnished with cheese and dates, a pack of biscuits, and a napkin and waste container.” Alim said that the million-meal plan has been made possible through the contributions of charitable donors.
