Elena Vesnina and Alla Kudryavtseva will play in an all-Russian final at the Tashkent Open Saturday, when both players will be vying for their first title.
In Friday's semifinals, fourth-seeded Vesnina rallied in the third set to beat fifth-seeded Monica Niculescu of Romania 6-3, 3-6, 6-4. Seventh-seeded Kudryavtseva, fresh from her first runner-up effort in Guangzhou, China Sunday, defeated Evgeniya Rodina 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.

Kudryavtseva opened strongly, winning the first set and breaking her opponent in the fifth game of the second to lead 3-2. But Rodina won four consecutive games to stay in the match, her first career semifinal appearance.
In the third set, Kudryavtseva broke decisively in the eighth game and saved a break point before serving out the match.
