Al Faisaliah Hotel offers ‘finest Ramadan meals'
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 17 - 08 - 2010

Al Faisaliah Hotel - a Rosewood Hotel, Riyadh's leading luxury hotel, will once again play host to thousands of guests for Iftar and Sohour meals in the hotel's unique Fawanees setting.
Held in the Prince Sultan Grand Hall, the hotel has transformed the most prestigious banqueting venue (and the largest column free space in the Kingdom) into a splendid Arabesque setting for guests to break the fast and relax in comfort and style.
“We are delighted to once again unveil our spectacular Fawanees concept. Each year we have welcomed more than 20,000 guests at this special time, and we look forward to further enhancing their Iftar and Sohour experiences this year,” said Peter Finamore, managing director of Al Faisaliah Hotel.
A feast for the senses at every turn, Fawanees offers an unmatched setting, personalized service and diverse gourmet cuisine for which Al Faisaliah Hotel is so renowned.
Iftar and Sohour menus created by the hotel's celebrated chefs cater to every culinary taste and preference. Choices include the finest traditional Arabian fare - Moroccan harisa soup and tagines, kebbeh bel laban and Saudi Arabia's celebrated lamb kabsa, as well as an array of international dishes from almost every corner of the globe. Live cooking stations offer the freshest and finest, and a buffet selection that includes hot and cold mezze, salads and shawarmas ensures the most discerning palates will be satisfied.
Adding to the atmosphere of celebration, key sponsor STC will also be giving away a number of valuable surprise gifts every evening during Ramadan to lucky guests in Fawanees.
“With Fawanees at the Al Faisaliah offering the finest in comfort and cuisine from sundown until the early hours of the morning, there is truly no better place to enjoy Ramadan celebrations in Riyadh,” said Finamore.
Iftars in Al Faisaliah's Fawanees in the Prince Sultan Grand Hall will be held daily during Ramadan from Magreb prayer until 8.30pm. until 8:30 p.m.
The Iftar buffet, which includes water, and Ramadan cocktails, is SR240 per person. The Sohour buffet in the hall is SR195 each for food only, and meals are available from 11:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. All prices are subject to a 15 percent service charge.
For large groups wanting to break the fast in a more private setting, Al Faisaliah offers its exclusive Al Omsiat Ballroom Iftar and Sohours. Groups of 100 to 250 people can enjoy the diverse Iftar and Sohour buffet in majestic settings highlighted by custom woven carpets, ornate chandeliers, and polished marble accents for a one-of-a-kind experience.
