Fathi steers Fathi Bowlers to clinch a double

Finally, Fathi Abdulaziz, fulfilled his dream by bagging the Best Bowler of the Week award and powering Fathi Bowlers to capture the Best Team of the Week honor in the 21st week of the Almarai Saturday Bowling League, 9th Conference being held at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).
The league is sponsored by Almarai Company and organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).
Fathi Bowlers rolled past Orbit Showtime to score a 20-6 victory. The main architects of victory were Fathi Abdulaziz and Perfect 300 holder Jun Bantug. Fathi, a Class D player and equipped with 18 handicaps, posted a four-game series of 929. He scored a game high of 257 in the third game. Unstoppable Jun Bantug also excelled by tallying a four-game series scratch of 903. Bantug carded 235, 247, 194 and 227. Fellow members Emil Rances, Noli Ritual and Fahad Al-Haza supported Fathi and Bantug by contributing separate series of 544 and 517.
Larry Baleros scored 777 points to lead in Orbit Showtime, captained by Rodel Canda. Glenn Espiritu and Atoi Ramos chipped in separate series of 751 and 721 while Resty de Jesus and Rodel Canda submitted 684 and 683 points respectively.
Defending champion, Eraserheads, eyeing for their third straight victory, recorded a 20-14 win over the Royal Archer. Multi awarded Ronald Bautista hit 902 scratch in four games to be the leading scorer in the Eraserheads, managed by Armin Isles. Andro Tismo tallied 810 points while Willy Nogoy, Armin Isles and Arnel Gordovez produced separate series of 751, 746 and 743 respectively.
Sweet Fareed Aquino rocked lanes to lead in Royal Archer by posting a towering four-game series scratch of 954. Ric Tugonon grilled 883 points to came next while Donjie Mapalad sealed 682 series. Rey Panlaqui, Tony Napo, Nap Torres and Rodel Molina shared separate series of 352, 346, 339 and 329 in four games. Fuji Elevators nipped Over-Hit 2, 16-12 and the leading scorers in Fuji Elevators were Ruel Toledo (810), Joel Lambo (785) and Jerry Austria (725). Fhel Ramos, Bobby Jamora, Wilson Bacala and Chito Llagas contributed 395, 374, 372 and 334.
Betsy Costumbrado toppled 803 series in four outings to top score in Over-Hit 2 captained by Hani Al-Nasleh. Dennis Gabriel, Victor Edan, Marvin Arocena and Hani Al-Nasleh downed 781, 738, 735 and 719 to share limelight with Betsy.
