Police conducting raids on properties believed to be housing persons living in breach of residency and labor laws on Tuesday arrested a man on charges of having in his possession “magic talismans”. The materials were reportedly found by officers hidden in the man's bed and inside a ring. The raids also put paid to a site used to illegally transfer telephone calls abroad, and led to the detention of several persons wanted in connection with previous offenses, traders in pornographic materials, and film and music bootleggers.
