Big win for Micro Engineering in JCA Division-II

run win for Micro Engineering team was made possible by Irfan Gujjar (60 runs), Nisar Ahmed (52) and fast bowler Mujahid (4-18) against ACC in the sixth week of the Division-II Summer League of the Jeddah Cricket Association.
Junaid Butt with an all-round performance of 71 runs and 2-38 earned Butt Sports a 7-wicket victory against Reel & Rom while MMASCC continued its winning run by beating a strong Deccan Knights Cricket Club by 12 runs.
Micro Engineering, batting first, made 213-8 in 18 overs against ACC. Irfan Gujjar hit 60 off just 20 balls, Nisar Ahmed made 52, Kaleem hit quick 37 runs off just 12 balls, while Nisar Taqi and Osman contributed 19 and 18 runs respectively. Ramu Krishna claimed 4-18 and Tarun 2-47. ACC, in reply, was bundled out for a paltry 65. Sachin (18) and Nanaji (12) were the batsmen to reach double figures. Newball bowler Mujahid grabbed 4-18 while Mushtaq with his slow spinners had 2-10 and Usman 1-1.
Reel & Rom, batting first, scored 158-8 in 18 overs against Butt Sports. Franky David, who opened the innings was looking comfortable, but soon lost his wicket. Wajid at the other end accelerated the score with a valuable 68, Muneer Ahmed made 25, Imran Khan 16 and Zubair 12. Junaid Butt had 2-38, Abdul Rehman 2-42, Junaid Amer 2-23 and veteran Naseem Khan one wicket. In reply Butt Sports reached 149-3 in 14 overs. Junaid Butt topscored with a stylish 71, Abdul Rehman made 38 and Junaid Amer 24 not out. Zubair took 2-23 and Khurram 1-14.
MMASCC, batting first, scored 174-7 in 18 overs against Deccan Knights through Zulfiqar 30, Adnan 26, Sajid 21, Amer Shahzad 12 and Tanseer 11. Irfan claimed 3-23, Syed Meer 1-18, Jawad 1-41, Khaja 1-23, Hyder 1-13 and Ghouse 1-28. Deccan Knights, in reply, could make 162-9 in 18 overs. Anwar Shah made a defiant 88, Inayath Ullah 27 and Hyder 11. Irfan claimed 3 wickets, Adnan 2 while Kamran, Amer Shahzad and Sayeed got one each.
Amir Shahzad's record breaking and unbeaten 136 in 47 balls and six sixes in an over helped MMASCC beat Khulais-XI by 106 runs, Micro Engineering downed Usfan Youngsters by 100 runs, Saudia City won over by 9 wickets against Peeran-XI in the fifth week matches.
Results: MMASCC 244-5 (Amir Shahzad 140 n.o., Sajid 43, Adnan 14, Zulfiqar 14, Ismail 2 wickets, Asif, Haneef and Sawath Khan one wicket each). Khulais-XI 138 (Mohammad Aslam 85, Akmal 17, Kamran Majeed 5 wickets, Sayed and Irfan 2 wickets each, Imran one).
Micro Engineering 230-5 (Irfan Gujjar 77, Kaleem 64, Nadeem 26, Nisar 15, Noman 3 wickets, Sajid and Sohail one each). Usfan Youngsters-XI 130 (Noman 47, Amjad 18, Faisal 13, Mushtaq and Aslam 2 wickets, Kaleem, Irfan Gujjar and Mujahed one each).
