Hanley Ramirez hit a grand slam and Dan Uggla singled home the winning run in the ninth inning for his third RBI as Florida beat New York just hours after the Marlins announced Edwin Rodriguez will remain their manager. Phillies 9, Reds 6, 10 innings: At Cincinnati, Raul Ibanez ended Arthur Rhodes' record-tying streak of scoreless innings with a run-scoring double in the 10th, rallying the Philadelphia Phillies past the Cincinnati Reds. Joey Votto's three-run homer with two outs off Brad Lidge (1-0) tied it in the ninth. Rhodes (2-2) hadn't allowed a run in his last 33 appearances, tying the major league season record. The left-hander gave up a leadoff double by Ryan Howard and walked Jayson Werth. Ibanez then doubled – the ball bounced off Drew Stubbs' glove at the wall in center – for the first run allowed by Rhodes since April 10, starting the winning rally. The comeback helped Philadelphia get beyond the loss of two starting infielders. Philadelphia put third baseman Placido Polanco and second baseman Chase Utley on the disabled list before the game, a stunning setback for the defending National League champs. Giants 4, Dodgers 2: At San Francisco, James Loney hit a go-ahead, two-run single in the fifth inning to help Los Angeles beat San Francisco. Loney also had an RBI single in the first, on the same play that Manny Ramirez injured his right hamstring. Rafael Furcal tripled, singled twice and scored a run as the Dodgers gave John Ely (4-5) plenty of support. Matt Cain (6-7) lost his third straight start and fell to 0-8 in 14 career starts against the Dodgers, who have won four of five against San Francisco this season. Ramirez hurt his hamstring running the bases and left the game. The team didn't immediately have further details and said Ramirez was day to day.
