The General Auditing Bureau (GAB) has uncovered violations in contracts worth SR2.7 billion signed by government administrations in Madina Region last year. The GAB found these violations in the accounts documents and financial lists for government administrations during the auditing of contracts signed by the Madina Mayoralty and the municipalities affiliated to it as well as the Directorate General for Water, the Islamic University, Taiba University, Yanbu Commercial and King Fahd Industrial ports, grain silos and flour mills, a branch of the Agricultural Bank, the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank and Madina Meridian Hotel that is owned by the Ministry of Finance.
