Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, the Emir of Makkah region, patronized here on Tuesday evening an honoring ceremony for the winners of the 2nd Makkah Prize of Excellence.? In an address at the ceremony, the Prince congratulated the winners of the prize and the officials in charge of the organization of the ceremony, noting that the Kingdom's leadership and people have always proved to be distinguished and excellent in their lives.?Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Haj Dr. Fuad Abdulsalam Al-Farsy expressed his thanks to Prince Khaled for his continuing support for the award. The winner of the prize for Haj and Umrah services was the establishment of South Asia Pilgrims for its provision of services to pilgrims during the 1430H Haj season. Al-Madina Press and Publishing received the prize for the best media coverage during last year's Haj, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) won the award for urban excellence.
