ASTEC and Al-Baik tennis tourney winners honored

Baik Tennis Challenge, which was organized by Association of Tennis Clubs (ASTEC)-Jeddah, with Al-Baik as main sponsor, at the tennis courts of Jeddah International School, Albilad and Sheraton hotels for almost two months, culminated with a colorful awarding night at the Elite Hall at Old Airport here.
Champions in their categories and events in the men's division were: Jeddah Ranao Tennis Club Team 2 (Class C); Enjaz-Magics (Class B2); Jollibee (Class B1); Enjaz-Magics (Lower Mix); Jeddah Ranao Tennis Club (Middle Mix) and OdraciR-JBTP (Higher Mix). Except for the Lower Mix event which was won by Gatorade-Saudia City Tennis Club, venue host Jeddah International School Tennis Club (JISTC) swept the titles in Classes C, B2, B1 and Higher Mix (HMX) in the women's division.
Special awardees in the men's division were:
Best doubles pairs: Nur Panizales and Edwin Calara of Toyota-Aljacks (C Category); Ramil Abdua and Albert Bayot of Enjaz-Magic (B2 Category).
Winners: Wowie Repaso and Al Manarandong of JRTC (B1 Category; Brothers pair of Edwin and Jun Potestad of team Jollibee (Lower Mix); Salah Habib and Othman Ala'a of the Arabian Eagles (Higher Mix). Title shared: Tony Mirasol and Carmelo Neri of Jollibee, and Alex Pena and Francis Lenguaje of Elaf Group (Middle Mix).
Women's division:
Best doubles: Mitch Jereza and Jingo Olaya of JIS-TC for (Class C); Donna Cuevas and Rowena Valencia of Enjaz-Magics (B2); Yeyeh Balde and Fenn Dela Torre of Danube Dynamics (B1); Ria Alimon and Ella Ramos of KAMC shared the award with Levi Apacionado and Hazyl Lozada of Enjaz-Magics in Lower Mix; Rhoda Bangit & Sheila Harris of Sarawat (Higher Mix).
Best singles: Bing Cabuquin of JIS-TC (Class C); Jhoy Sarabia of Enjaz-Magic (Class B2); Joy Siongco of KAMC (Category B1 and Higher Mix).
This team tennis tournament, which attracted over five hundred tennis players, who played for 74 teams, was organized and managed by the Association of Tennis Clubs (ASTEC) in Jeddah, in cooperation with Al-Baik Food Company as main sponsor and Deltaz/Prince as co
