SSPC, Saad Group dazzle

Saudi Steel Profile Company (SSPC) stunned champion team Zinda Tilismat of Hyderabad by 14 runs, Hyderabad Green defeated Panda Cricketers by 5 wickets on the last ball, Rawi Cricketers won over Pure Foods by 45 runs, emerging Saad Group cricketers continued their run by downing an experienced Brothers-XI by 5 wickets and Natco Saudi Arabia thrashed Tamer by 6 wickets in the 14th week matches of the Division I ACE Travel Cup which is sponsored by ACE Travel & Tours and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
Saudi Steel Profile Company, batting first, scored 226-2 in 18 overs against Zinda Tilismat. Skipper Zainul Salikeen made 72, Rana Shahzad 61, Farhan 43 and Tariq Jamal 37. Munaf and Sadathullah took one wicket each. Zinda Tilismat came close the mammoth score by reaching 213-5 in 18 overs. Jawed Ahmed 50, Saeed Khan 50, Sadathullah 43, Zahid 40 and Urooj Mohammad Khan 11 were the main scorers. Tariq Jamal and Rana Shahzad took 2 wickets each.
Brothers-XI tallied 162-4 in 18 overs against Saad Group as Junaid hit an unbeaten 101 in 51 balls, Amanullah 29 and Moin 10 . Omar and Khalid took 2 wickets each. Saad Group reached the target 163-5 in 16 overs. Ghulam Mustafa who made a match-winning 101 in 45 balls was the hero. Sajid hit 38 and Khalid 9. Shameem Ahmed took 2 wickets while Nadeem, Noman and Mohan got one wicket each.
Panda, batting first, made 213-6 in 18 overs against Hyderabad Green-XI through Tanveer 63, Khusro 39, Shoaib 24, skipper Syed Arif Hashmi 27 not out and Farhan 17. Jaffer, Rafiq, Bilal, Majid and Anis took one wicket each. Hyderabad Green-XI reached 214-5 in 17.5 overs. Majid and Jaffer made 62 runs each, Ashfaq cracked 44 and Shaban 9. Saqib took 2 wickets while Shoaib and Farhan claimed one wicket each.
Rawi, batting first, made 188-5 in 18 overs against Pure Foods. Bahadur who topscored with 61 was followed by Shafiullah 40, Abid 16, Hidayathullah 15, Kashan 12 and Khawar 11. Khizer took 2 wickets, Taabish, Rushdi and Imran grabbed one each. Pure Foods made 143-9. Sajjad Butt was the leading scorer with 64. Khizer made 25, Rushdi 14 and Shaban 12. Bahadur took 3 wickets. Sher Ali and Sayeed Uddin claimed 2 wickets each.
Tamer was all out for 129 against Natco. Syed Mohammad Afroz 44, Zainul 25, skipper Anwar Khan 23 and Ali Mohammad 15 were the main scorers. Hussain Abbasi and Imran claimed 3 wickets each while skipper Humayun Farooq, Niaz and Ashiq Ali took one each. Natco reached 130-5 in 17.5 overs. Ashiq Ali remained unbeaten on 32, followed by Hussain Abbasi 20, Athar Ali 18, Imran 18 and Ali Rehman 16. Hafeez took 2 wickets while Anwar Khan and Zainul took one wicket each
