Goalless draws were the order of the day during the second week matches of the 13th SIFF-JNH Soccer 2010 at the Sharbatly ground here. The tournament is mainly sponsored by Jeddah National Hospital (JNH) and organized by Saudi Indian Football Forum (SIFF). Guests of the day, Kerala State Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty, A. Vijayaraghavan, MP, and Basheer Ali Shihab Thangal, President, Kerala Muslim Educational Association. Underdogs Combined Brothers and Real Kerala FC held on valiantly and even threatened favorites Asiatic Cultural Center B and Mohsen Cargo - Friends respectively in the two encounters scheduled for the day. In the Second Division match, Combined Brothers put ACC B in all sort of trouble in the second half whereas ACC B settled into a rhythm in second half to share honors and points. In the First Division encounter, Mohsen Cargo - Friends who have been installed as one of the favorites, found the going tough to pierce the solid defense of Real Kerala, boosted by a reliable goalkeeper Thottoli Shuhaib. Ultimately it turned out to be a fight between Shuhaib under the Real Kerala bar and the frustrated Mohsen Cargo - Freinds forwards, led by captain Shafeeque , Noushad Ali and Aziz. Friday's matches: Young Challengers Club vs. Al-Huda Sports Club (5.10 P.M.) and Western Union ACC vs. Bharat Cultural Center (6.45 P.M.).
