A drive by shooting could have claimed the lives of three people in Riyadh downtown on Saturday. Two men received the full force of the shotgun blast to their legs and thighs. Both were taken to hospital. A verbal exchange of words and gestures including cursing between two groups of three each fueled the drive-by shooting. The two groups seated in their cars engaged in hot verbal fight as they were driving slowly on a main road. With an anger management problem, a passenger in one of the cars picked up his gun shooting at the other three people in their car. When the police was informed, they arrived at the scene and arrested them and seized the fire arm. They were taken in for more investigation. The two injured are in stable condition. Riyadh police spokesman warned against committing such criminal activities, saying all violators will be severely punished. – Okaz __
